The Kinesis Wall is a training modality designed to focus on balance, flexibility, and stability.  Each of these elements is trained together to optimize one’s physical strength and endurance.  By emphasizing the principal of integrated movement; training with the Kinesis Wall helps to increase the ability to maintain balance with movement, maintain and optimize flexibility, increase core strength to stabilize and protect the spine, and increase overall body strength and endurance.  The goal is to train the body utilizing an integrated approach- so that you are training muscles to work together- just as they do in everyday life….thereby enhancing one’s ability to perform everyday tasks with greater ease.  Thus, training with the Kinesis Wall can be considered “functional movement”.

LIGHTEN UP YOGA STUDIO 

  

This class will benefit anyone with a spine!  The muscles of the core support the spine… In learning how the core functions to support the spine, students will learn the importance of spinal stability, improve postural awareness, and deepen the connection to one’s own inner strength.  Enjoy core strengthening similiar to Pilates and the joyful release of Yoga!
